An architectural revolution in the heart of Venice

The Theatre Teatrino Palazzo Grassi (Venecia, Italia) has recently been re-opened thanks to the restoration project of the Japanese architect Tadao Ando.

It has a trapezoid design of approximately 1000 square meters, and had been completely abandoned since 1983, until the spring of 2011 when the owner of Palazzo Grassi, François Pinault, gave the order to start the restoration works.

Our client Italtecnica (from Rubano, Padua), have put their trust in GUIL to build the stage for the auditorium, creating an elegant, modern set-up that is in perfect harmony with the rest of the architectural changes that have been made.

The stage can be found in a space that holds up to 225 people and can be used for multiple functions: musician meetings, conferences, book readings, concerts, film showings, etc.

Once again, thanks to the professionalism and creativity of Italtecnica, GUIL TM440 platforms have proven to be a versatile and flexible solution.
